Secundus was the second son of the King of Stormhold. Secundus was considered good-looking by many of the peasants of the kingdom. He was killed when Septimus pushed him out of their father's bedroom window, plummeting to his death.
When he reappeared as a ghost beside his previously murdered brothers Quintus, Quartus and Sextus, his face had become crushed and deformed, showing the impact of the fall. At first he did not realise that he was dead, instead believing that his deceased brothers were miraculously alive.
As ghosts, Secundus and his brothers accompanied their living brothers Primus and Septimus on their search for the ruby. Secondus's ghost was later freed and passed on to the afterlife when Tristan Thorne, his nephew, picked up the ruby and restored its color, revealing him to be "the last surviving male heir of the Stormhold bloodline."
